Obituary For Darius R. Thompkins

A TIME TO BE BORN
Darius Raynard Thompkins was born June 15, 1989 to Levis Brown, Jr. and Charlene Thompkins.

A TIME TO WORSHIP
Brother Darius Thompkins began his faithful devotion to our Lord and Savior at a very early age
at his family’s church, The House of God Church Keith Dominion in Nankin, Georgia. His service
continued at God’s Outreach Ministry under the leadership of Apostle Vincent Ervin, Sr. and
Evangelist Jacqueline Ervin. In his work for the Kingdom of God, he sang in the choir, welcomed the saints in for service, and recruited souls for Christ. He was known to invite friends and those he met to church. He would even transport those who needed a ride to church. He readily shared his
testimonies of God’s goodness toward him.

A TIME TO BE EDUCATED
Darius matriculated through the Brooks County School System and was a member of the Class of
2007. He attended South Georgia State College at Valdosta State University. His major was Business
Management. It was always his desire to further his education and pursue a fulfilling career.

A TIME TO SERVE
Darius was eager to work and provide for himself and his family. His smile and charisma greeted
customers at his various places of employment. He was a dedicated employee at KFC, Kohl’s, Pilgrim’s
Pride, Integrity Associates, Food Lion and Circle K.

A TIME TO SERVE
Even as Darius cared for himself, he was always thoughtful of those who were less fortunate. He
sought means to feed the hungry and homeless during the holidays. His concern for his community was genuine.

A TIME TO DIE
Darius Raynard Thompkins was ushered into eternal rest into God’s glory on June 11, 2024.
