Obituary For Herman Davis Jr

Herman Davis Jr. affectionately known to family and friends as "Junior" was on born October 16th, 1944 to Herman Sr, and Cutney Davis in Brunswick Georgia.

Herman Jr received his formative education at Lakeshore High School Belle Glade Fl. He migrated to Northeast Ohio where he began his career at Chrysler Corp until his retirement in 1999.

Herman Jr was a fun loving, caring person. He would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need no matter who they were. Herman Jr always put others first and self last.

On Saturday June 15th, 2024, God in his eternal love called Herman Jr on into eternity. this loving soul leaves to cherish his memory his devoted children Iris Louis (James), Darlene Ford (John), Al Davis (Michelle), Sherman Davis, Michael Grimes, Torrien Davis, Noah Williams. In addition 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grands, his siblings: Robert "Chin" Davis, Timothy Milton, Gloria Milton, Catherine Epps, Linda "Niecy" Daniels, and a host of family and friends. Herman Jr. joins his love ones in Heaven, including his parents ( Herman Sr., Cutney Davis and Frank Milton), brothers ( Edward Davis, Matthew "Bonnie", James, and Darryl Milton, and William Brown).

Herman Jr maybe gone but he most certainly will not be forgotten. His memories will live on in the many lives that he has touched. His life was a blessing to us and it will not be in vain.

Dad. As much as I will miss you I know you are in a better place. Thank you for the kindness and words of wisdom. For all that knew you they know that you were an awesome man to be around and converse with as some would say a smooth individual aka Herm Dog. Rest easy and enjoy the reunion with your loved ones. I can remember you and the words of wisdom in saying be thankful for your health and strength. Today I am gathering that strength in celebrating your home going. With love your son Al.
