Obituary For Craig Adams

Craig Adams, age 64 of Macon, Georgia passed away Monday, June 17, 2024. He was born May 30, 1960, to the late Cleo Adams, Sr. and the late Willie B. Washington Adams in Lowndes County, Georgia. He married Claudia Gruner and one daughter was born in this marriage, Cassandra Adams.

Craig was educated in Lowndes County Public Schools. Craig was a proud, honorable veteran of the United States Army and an amazing house painter.

At an early age, he confessed Christ and accepted him as his personal Savior. He joined the St. John Missionary Baptist Church of Barretts, Georgia.

Craig was preceded in death by his father, Cleo Adams, Sr. and mother, Willie B. Washington Adams; brother Cleo Adams, Jr.; sister Narva Jean Adams; grandparents, Charity Miller Adams, John W. Washington, Sr., and Eliza Copeland Washington.

He leaves cherished memories to his loving daughter, Cassandra Adams and granddaughter, Annika Adams of Seefeld in Tirol, Austria; two brothers, Howard Adams and Wayne Adams (Patricia) of Valdosta, Georgia; four sisters, Magolean Porter of Ray City, Georgia, Jenell Leonard (Willie), Grace Adams-Johnson, Wanda Crawford (Leroy) all of Valdosta, Georgia; one sister-in-law, Elizabeth Adams of Quitman, Georgia, one uncle, Kelsey Washington (Erlene) of Valdosta, Georgia, one aunt, Barbara Washington of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and one great-aunt, Mary Lou Copeland of Valdosta, Georgia. He has a host of loving nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, June 27 from 12:00 noon til 7:00 P. M.

Funeral service for Mr. Adams will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 at at 11:00 A. M. at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church Rev. George W. Blunt is the pastor and Rev. Norman Edwards will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Pallbearer Cemetery.
