Veronica Lynn Wesley answered the call to enter eternity on June 14, 2024, at Select Specialty Hospital after an extended illness. She was born on October 12, 1965, in Youngstown, to the union of the former Lucille Traylor and Lewis Wesley Sr.
Despite facing various challenges, Veronica's warm and kind-hearted nature touched the lives of those around her. Veronica faced each day with courage and grace, a true testament to her strength. Through the winds of change and the trials of life, Veronica's indomitable spirit shone brightly, a testament to her unwavering strength. In moments of joy and sorrow, she remained a pillar of resilience and grace, leaving an eternal imprint on the hearts of all who knew her.
Veronica’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be lovingly remembered by her mother Lucille Bebbs and children Gregory Wright, Marvin Spivey Jr., Deon Spivey and Wykeia Spivey. Her siblings Cheryl (George) Traylor-Cowans, Lynette Wesley and Robert Bebbs III will cherish the times shared. Her legacy will be upheld by her five grandchildren and a score of family and friends.
Veronica was welcomed into eternity by the ancestors which included her father Lewis Wesley Sr., bonus father Robert Bebbs Sr., brother Lewis "Man" Wesley Jr., grandparents Frederick D. Traylor, Sr., Thelma Johnson-Traylor, Louise Owens, great grandmother Mary Sarah Miller, aunt Mildred McMullen, and nephews Raylin Weaver and Brandon Wesley.
Let us gather to honor and remember the life of a gentle soul who touched the lives of others with her kindness and love. Though she may be gone from our sight, she will forever remain in our hearts. A ray of hope in our lives, her spirit will forever be a reminder of the beauty and strength that resides within us all.
The community is invited to join the Wesley Family in celebrating Veronica's life on Monday June 24, 2024, at the Jaylex Event Center, 2110 Glenwood Avenue in Youngstown, with a public viewing and family visitation at 10:00 am. The Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 am with Rev. Lewis W. Macklin II serving as the celebrant. After the committal service, Veronica will be laid to rest at the Belmont Park Cemetery.
May Veronica rest in peace, knowing she was cherished and will never be forgotten. Her spirit was as warm as her smile, touching the lives of so many with her kindness and compassion. Veronica's memory and legacy live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
