Obituary For Mrs. Margaret Hollis

“Life is a gift from God. Our family, friends, neighbors, and strangers are all gifts to be savored. Although some days may be full of hardship and sadness, each breath, heartbeat, and thought illustrates the beautiful gift of life.”

Mrs. Margaret Hollis of Valdosta, Georgia was born February 19, 1948. Mrs. Hollis crossed that “Golden Bar” on Monday, June 17, 2024.

Sunset and evening star, And one clear call for me! And may there be no moaning of the bar, When I put out to sea, but such a tide as moving seems asleep, too full for sound and foam, when that which drew from out the boundless deep Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell, And after that the dark! And may there be no sadness of farewell, When I embark; For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place The flood may bear me far, I hope to see my Pilot face to face, When I have crost the bar.

Celebration of Life Services are scheduled for Saturday, June 22, 204, at 2:00 PM from Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church - 500 East Force Street, Valdosta Georgia.

I was blessed with a great grandma and best friend. From showing me how to cook to being the step stone to the women I am today. I'm truly blessed. They don't make them like you anymore. Gone in sight, but NEVER in my heart. Love the baby of the crew Dominique Webb
