Obituary For Jacarious Isaiah McKissic

Funeral service for Jacarious McKissic, 23, of Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of Opelika, Alabama, will be at 12:00 noon, Friday, June 21, 2024, at True Deliverance Holiness Church, 936 North Donahue Drive, Auburn, AL, 36832 with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801, Bishop Nolan T. Torbert will officiate.

Mr. McKissic, who passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024, in Kansas City, Missouri, was born September 15, 2000 in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Mr. McKissic will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

He leaves to cherish his memory: mother Tiquaner (Lafreddrick) McKissic-Ferrell and father, Carvarnos (Lawanna) Watts both of Opelika, AL; one brother, Rykell Watts of Opelika, AL; one sister, Sharnitris Barnes of Lanett, AL; four uncles, Anthony Trammell, Jr. of Austin, TX, Calvin Keyon Hughley, Labrande Hughley and Danard Watts all of Opelika, AL; four aunts, Brittany Hughley, Janataka Hughley-Holmes, Nakita (Juanita) Bryant all of Opelika, AL and Yasha Huguley of Valley, AL; three grandmothers, Bertha Mae Trammell, of Auburn, AL, Janice (Milton) Whatley of Opelika, AL and Earnestine Huguley of Lanett, AL; three grandfathers, Calvin (Linda) Payne of Loachapoka, AL, Cornell Jackson of Opelika, AL and Anthony Trammell Sr. of Austin, TX; ten great-aunts, Ruthie McKissic, special aunt and uncle, Alesia (Calvin) Patrick both of Auburn, AL, Evette (Randy) Echols of Tuscaloosa, AL, Cynthia (Michael) Whatley of Opelika, AL, Joanne Dowdell of Marietta, GA, Mary Charlot and Dorthea (Michael) Davis both of Phenix City, AL, Gwendolyn (James) Thompson of Salem, AL, Doris Butler of Opelika, AL, and Lisa (Raymond) Brownlee of Lagrange, GA; four great-uncles, Jefferson (Greta) Payne, Alvin Payne, Howard Watts all of Opelika, AL, Larry (Michelle) Watts of Seattle Washington; four special friends, Malik Wilson, Contavius Gullatte, LeJamius Core and Aliyah Abernathy; and a host of cousins other relatives and friends.
