Obituary For Tradetta Desha' Lane

Tradetta Desha’ Lane was born July 20th, 1990 to Tracy Tyrone Lane and Valencia Trinette Wright.

Public viewing will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 at Davis Funeral Home from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M.

Celebration of Life service will be held on June 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Stone Springfield AME Church, 7476 Hwy 296, Stapleton, Georgia. Interment will be at the Stone Springfield AME Cemetery.

Tradetta was lovingly known as “Noosie”. She was a distinguished alumna of Jefferson County High School in Louisville, Georgia, where she graduated in 2008. She furthered her education at Michael’s School of Cosmetology in Augusta, Georgia. From a young age, Tradetta demonstrated a strong work ethic. She actively participated in the Stone Springfield AME community. Despite her academic commitments, she held various positions at Peggy’s, Mickey and Martha’s. Additionally, she efficiently worked as her father’s accountant while still in high school. Tradetta's genuine care and dedication were evident through her involvement in nurturing and looking after children in her community, showcasing her selfless and compassionate nature.

Tradetta is preceded in death by her maternal great grandmother, Margaret L. Hudson, and her maternal grandparents, Leslie V. and Mary E. Wright. Her paternal grandfather Rufus “Pop Pop” Gaines, her paternal great-grandmother Marie “Big Ma” Lane, and her paternal aunt, Lauricer Michelle Butts.

She is survived by her parents Valencia (David) Stephens of Stapleton, GA and Tracy (Alberta) Lane of Thomson, GA; her siblings: Antonio Kitchens, California Maryland, Ricardo Lane, Augusta, GA and Towanda White of Thomson, GA; several bonus sisters and brothers: her paternal grandmother, Annie Ruth Gaines of Wrens, GA; aunts and uncles: Eutovia Lewis, Conyers, GA, Treisy Usry, Matthews, GA, Tamicka Butts, Wrens, GA, Sonya (Joseph) Roberts, Fayetteville, N.C.; nieces and nephews, Ricardo Jr., ZaRyah, Zion, Shania Kendrick, Selena Revels, Tabias Kitchens, Ka’den Holliday, and Maddox Kitchens; and a god son: Aron Brown Jr.; god sisters: Kelsey Kemp and Paris Kemp; a host of other family members and friends including two devoted ones, Kelsey Evans and AJ Harmon.
