Obituary For Sister Anita Louise Johnson

Even though we didn’t want to say goodbye, however, it is acknowledged that God blessed you with a glorious life of holiness here on earth. God’s looking after you now, high, high up in the heavens. We love you so much, we only ask God for the courage and strength to say goodbye. Although your life here on earth has come to an end, your faith and obedience to the gospel of Jesus Christ will forever be cherished.


The Johnson Family, with the assistance of the staff of Harrington Funeral Home Inc., announce the passing of: Sister Anita Louise Johnson of Valdosta, Georgia, was born on February 21, 1957. She entered into the sunset of life on Sunday, June 16, 2024 - as she said goodbye to this world of sufferings and pain. Mrs. Johnson’s Life Journey will forever be cherished by all those who knew her.


Celebration of Life Services are scheduled for Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 5:00 PM at Oracles Of Deliverance - 6595 Inner Perimeter Road, Valdosta Georgia. Rev. Marilyn Thomas, Pastor/Founder

The Reverend Marilyn Thomas, the pastor and founder of Oracles of Deliverance Church, believes that holiness is the divine high standard for the true Church by which we receive everlasting life. 1 Peter 1:16: “Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” 1 Timothy 2:9: “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety ...” With that in mind, the Pastor requests that all well-wishers (attendees’) adorn themselves as such. PLEASE NOTE: NO LADIES PANTS WILL BE ALLOWED. Deuteronomy 22:5: “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

Mrs.Anita and I would spend time putting together puzzles and sharing our faith in God. She was a bright light who touched my heart and will be forever a sweet memory of my time at the Mayo Clinic and Gabriel House.
