Obituary For Mr. Dennis Marvin McRae

Mr. Dennis Marvin McRae, also known as “Boobie,” was born on July 9, 1970. He departed tis life on Friday, June 14, 2024.

Dennis attended the Anson County Schools. He was with the graduating class of 1988.

He enjoyed watching TV, especially Westerns and Football. He was a Dallas Cowboys Fan. He also enjoyed sitting outside on the picnic table with his friends. It did not matter if it was cold or hot weather.

Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie P. McRae, and his grandparents, Jesse and Odell Burch and Joe Pete and Velma McRae.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Betty Burch McRae of the home. Sisters, Pricillia Ware and Betty Caple of Morven, North Carolina and Patricia McRae of the home. Brother, Johnnie D. McRae of Wadesboro, North Carolina. Aunts, Pearlie Melton, Glenda Teal (Robert) of Morven, North Carolina, Connie Liles (Howard), Brenda Watkins of Wadesboro, North Carolina, and Gloria Wall of Polkton, North Carolina. Uncles, James Burch (Frances) and Hubert Burch of New York, Haywood McRae (Peggy) of Monroe, North Carolina. Nieces, Monique, Brianna and Swatisha. Nephews, Justin, Darren, Santaz, Johnnie, Eric and Jamarkus.

Special friends, Mrs. Juanita Huntley, Antonio Huntley, Harvey Liles and the employees of the Morven Family Dollar Store. A host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Homegoing Services will be on Saturday, June 22, 2024, 2:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be in the family plot of the Galilee/Ramah Grove Church Cemetery, Morven, North Carolina.

The McRae Family will be greeting family and friends on Saturday, June 22, 2024, 1:30-2:00pm Smith's Memorial Chapel and at all other times at the family residence.

The public viewing will be on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 2:30-5:00pm at Smith's Funeral Home.
