Obituary For Charles E. Long

Mr. Charles E. Long, of Greenwood, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Monday, June 10, 2024, at his residence.

Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 12 Noon from the sanctuary of Greater Buckhorn Missionary Baptist Church located at 4691 Hwy 162 in Marianna, Florida 32446 where the Elder Robert Baker, is the interim pastor.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Long will lie in repose at the church from 11:00 AM until time for the service.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Two Brothers: Felix Long, Jr. and Ervin (Diane) Long both of Marianna, Florida

Two Sisters: Dr. Evelyn (Dennis) Pete of Greenwood, Florida and Daisy (Al) Wade Jr. of Marianna, Florida

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
