Obituary For Robert Wyatt Lacy, Jr.

Robert Wyatt Lacy, Jr., of Richmond, Virginia, transitioned to his eternal home on June 10, 2024, at 5:28 pm. He was born June 22, 1953, to Laura Harris Lacy and Robert W. Lacy Sr. He was preceded in death by both his parents and first wife Lyle D. Lacy. He attended Richmond Public Schools and graduated from John Marshall High School, where he played basketball and football. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Renee Knight-Lacy; two daughters that he loved very much, Dawn Allen (Dwayne) and Robyn Lacy (Troy); five grandchildren, whom were his heartbeats, Darrell Ross, Dymond Allen, Lydell Carter, Tranaye Carter and Troy C. Carter; brother, Ronald Lacy; his devoted Harris/Lacy family and New York family and more devoted his loving sister-in-law; Dr. Alicia Knight-DeBrady (Christophe’); his two best friends, confidants, partners in crime, James Harris and Geraldine Smith; other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Robert's memory to Fairfield Baptist Church Trustee Ministry, 1500 Mechanicsville Turnpike, Richmond, VA 23223. Livestreaming at scottsfuneralhomecom
