Obituary For Edgar Mordica Warren

Edgar Mordica Warren, 60 of Stokesdale, NC passed May 30, 2024. The family will receive visitors Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 11:00 a.m ~ 12:00 p.m. at Oak Springs Baptist Church, 9070 US Highway #158, Stokesdale, NC with the service beginning at 12 noon. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Edgar Mordica Warren was born in Forsyth County on March 7, 1964, to Roscoe and Barbara Warren. He is the youngest of their three sons and lived and cared for his mother in Stokesdale, NC.

Edgar attended and graduated from Northwest Guiford High School. He was a dedicated son, brother and father. He was a member of Oak Springs Missionary Baptist Church where he accepted Christ at an early age, eventually rededication his life to Christ before his passing. He loved working with his hands, he could build or fix anything construction related. This passion and skillset drove him to work for himself as a Self-Employed Independent Contractor who worked all around the Triad area.

He loved to ride horses, motorcycles and to fellowship with is friends and family. He was usually the one doing the cooking on his custom-built portable grill and fryer. Edgar was a loud talker with a loud laugh and big smile.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roscoe, daugher, Wendy and sister (childbirth).

He leaves to cherished memories: his mother; Barbara β€œBob” of Stokesdale, NC, two brothers; Jeff (Toni) of Greensboro, NC and Gerald of Yanceyville, NC. Granddaughter; Aaliyah of Wytheville, VA, niece; Jessica of Greensboro, NC and a host of family and friends.
