Dear

Family, Steven was more than my cousin. He was like a brother. My birthday twin. He understood me like no one else in our family. No matter how much time went by, I could call him and it would be like no time had passed at all. I took time for granted and thought I had more. I will miss his smile and his jokes! I love you, Franny! And I love you, Aunt Abby, Curt, and Rich!

Steven was a lovable soul who cherished his family above all else. His sense of humor brightened our lives and brought joy to every gathering. Steven will be truly missed, but we find comfort in the thought that he may be reunited with his father, who we hope is embracing him now. Their spirits will continue to live on, guiding and illuminating our family always. Rest in peace, Steven. You will forever be in our hearts. We are keeping Frances, Stebo, Fahdeeyuh, his mother Abby, and brothers Curtis and Richard deep in our prayers. - The Brewer Family (Aunt Deanie, Uncle Dave, and Cousin Stacey)

Dear Family, Words alone cannot adequately express my feelings upon hearing this news. I am remembering the laughs we shared unknowingly bumping into each other at SCSU and both giving each other a second look and asking, "don't we know each other?". "Who are your people?" Eventually, after saying a few names, we connected the dots and laughed at how small the world truly was. Steven was a cool guy always with a smile. We offer to you our love and prayers for your comfort during this challenging time. Your South Florida Family, Pierre, Yvrose, Sephora, and Anjali JOHNSON
