Obituary For Hugh Nelson Smith

Hugh Nelson “Big” Smith 49, entered into rest June 02, 2024 at St Joseph Hospital in Savannah GA.

Hugh was born to the late Annie Lee Wilson Smith in Louisville Georgia. He was preceded in passing by his brother Galvin Smith and sister Wendy Smith.

Hugh graduated from Louisville High School, attended Devry Institute, and also served in the US Army. His passion in life was being a grill master and family time.

The viewing will be held Friday June 07 2024 at James and Virginia Davis Chapel, 725 Beech Street, Louisville Georgia from 4 to 6 P.M. Celebration Service will also be held at James and Virginia Davis Chapel 725 Beech Street Louisville Georgia, Saturday, June 08, 2024 at 11am.

Interment will be at Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 4933 Hickory Grove Church Road Sparta GA 31087.

Hugh Nelson Smith leaves behind many broken hearts and a trail of tears, he will always be remembered by his loving wife Cliantonia “Ty” Tieast Smith, his devoted daughters: Ca'Dejah Smith Allen (James), Ny'Kerria LeShay Smith, Aleysha Nicole Smith, Aaliyah Smith and loving son Hugh Smith, Jr, step daughters: Ashley and Alexis Perkins; Grand children: Antonio Walker III, Christian Allen, Riley Wilson, Jaylen and Jayden Johnson: sisters: Wanda (Alexander) Smith Roebuck, Warner Robbins,GA and Sherry Denise Smith, Wadley,GA his aunts: Helen Wilson. Roberts (Odell), Catherine Wilson and Ilane Wilson Warren (Ricky). uncles: Hugh Wilson Jr, Larry Wilson (Arlinda), Randy Wilson (Bernice) and Ronnie Wilson (Mary Ann); Mother-in-law: Mary Tullis; father-in-law: Clint Williams; sister-in-law: Brandy (Darrien) Johnson; brother-in-law: William Tullis;
