Obituary For Katherine Marie Latham

Katherine Marie Latham, 64 of Madison, NC passed Sunday June 2, 2024. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Perry-Spencer Funeral Home Chapel, Eden, NC.

Ms. Katherine Marie Latham gained her angel wings on Sunday June 02, 2024 in her home. She was born on February 09, 1960 to the late Garfield Latham and Carol Jean Latham.

Kathy attended Morehead Senior High School and later attended Winston Salem State University. She served as a Lay Worker and Private Homecare Aide throughout Rockingham County until her health began to decline.

She accepted Christ at a young age and joined Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church of Eden, NC. Kathy truly loved her son Michael, family and friends. She was a very outgoing person who enjoyed telling family stories to her son Michael and reminiscing with him of her life experiences.

Kathy was preceded in death by her infant daughter Camille Latham, father Garfield Latham, maternal grandparents Clarence and Katherine Hairston and paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Latham.

Kathy leaves to cherish her memories; her beloved son, Michael Latham of the home, her mother Carol Jean Latham and brother Mark Latham both of Greensboro, NC. Three close sister-cousins Wendy Gray, Rhonda Hairston and Lovisa Wade (Thomas). A host of other cousins, family and friends.
