Obituary For Emma Gamble Bridges

Mrs. Emma Gamble Bridges was born in Louisville, GA, March 31, 1952 to Mr. Willie "July" Gamble and Idella Coppett Gamble.

Emma made her transition fir labor to reward on Friday evening, May 31, 2024 at her residence, Davisboro, GA.

She joins her parents, her husband and five siblings, Clarence Gamble, Willie Gamble, Leroy Gamble, Mary Frances Middleton and Betty Heggs in death.

Homegoing Celebration will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the New Fleming Baptist Church, Bartow, GA. Interment will be held in New Fleming Baptist Church Cemetery.

Public viewing will be held Friday, June 7, 2024 from 3:00 - 6:00 P.M.

Emma was married in 1985 to the now late Willie Henry Bridges.

At an early age, Emma joined the Christian family at the New Fleming Baptist Church, Bartow, GA where she continued two serve the Lord, until she could no longer go.

Emma loved and enjoyed life. She worked for years as a seamstress and later really worked in a place that she was really passionate about, The Flower House. She enjoyed her family and the family gatherings.

She leaves behind to carry on her legacy, her children: Tammy Gamble, Davisboro, GA, Lorenzo (Krishayla Stone) Gamble, Louisville, GA; her stepchildren: LeVon (Dorothy Burton) Bridges, Louisville, GA, Melanie (Willie) Brookins, Sandersville, GA; her grandchildren: Kendrick (Santina Pierce) Brown, Ciarra James, Myeshia Gamble, Tam'eshia James, Davisboro, GA, Na'riah Gamble, Statesboro, GA, Em'Mya Gamble, Lacee' Gamble, Louisville GA; step grandchildren: Brittany Walker, Deiontay Walker and Akeelah Brookins, Sandersville, GA, Levondria Bridges, Virginia, Tyler Andrews, Augusta, GA ; a great-grand child, better known as her love and the boss: Kelsi Brown, Sandersville, GA; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Gray (Lisa) Bridges and Helen Gilbert, Sandersville, GA, Glenda Samples, Atlanta, GA, Barbare Ann (Tommy) Evans, Tennille, GA; She had a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
