To know Don was to love him. Don was always the life of the party. He always thought he was the best dancer around whether he knew the steps or not. If he did not know the steps, he would make them up as he went along. He never met a stranger...no matter where he went.
Don was educated in the public schools of Chesterfield County. He was employed at ITEC.
Don leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Sharon and two daughters, Da'vonna and Treasure of the home; a son, Donavone (Jakaisha) of Wingate, North Carolina; four loving sisters, Sarah Ann Cook (James), Pamela Hancock, Gwendolyn "Louise" Hancock, all of Pageland, South Carolina and Nikki Hancock Spicer (Charles) of Syracuse, New York; a loving brother, Edward Hancock (Trindell "Carelock") of Pageland, South Carolina; other brothers and sisters, Sandra Lowery Haggins of Jefferson, South Carolina, Sylvia Lowery Brown, Fred Lowery, Jr, James Cook and Chris McCray of Pageland, South Carolina and Rodney Lockhart of Great Falls, South Carolina; a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
