Yvonne K Becton, , 82 of Memphis, Tennessee died on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Methodist South Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Born Thursday, November 27, 1941 in Memphis, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius Milsaps and the late Willie Mays Williams.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 31, 2024 from 11:00am-11:55am with a Celebration of Life to follow at 12:00 noon both will be held at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church 620 Parkrose Rd, Memphis, TN 38109
Interment will be in Memorial Park Southwood Cemetery, 5485 Hacks Cross Rd, Memphis, TN 38125

Words cannot fully express the depth of sadness I feel over the loss of Ms Becton. She was a true warrior for the community. She gave her all; her knowledge, experience, and time to the betterment of Memphis. It was our joy to have been neighbors for over 50 years. Nester Cove will never be the same again.
