Obituary For David Allen Montgomery

David Allen Montgomery, 76 of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday May 22, 2024 at Sunrise Manor, Hodgenville.

He was a member of First Baptist Church, Hodgenville. “Moose” as he was affectionally known loved to fish and make homemade wine.

He was preceded in death by a son, Tony Epps; his parents Sam and Regina Montgomery; three brothers, Sammy, James “Tom Dolley” and Harry Montgomery; his long time companion Lillie Barnett.

He leaves to cherish his memories two brothers, Melvin (Connie) Montgomery, Jeff (Emma) Montgomery; three sisters Phyllis (Rev. David) Mitchell, Paula Montgomery and Elder Bonita Montgomery-Robinson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The funeral is at 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Percell and Sons Funeral Home, Elizabethtown with the Rev. John C. Lee officiating with Burial to follow in Elizabethtown Cemetery.

Visitation after 5:00 pm Tuesday at Funeral Home.
