Obituary For Iesha Latoya Jackson

Iesha Latoya Jackson was born on September 15, 1989, to Elijah Jackson and Lena
M. Jackson. As a military brat, Iesha moved frequently until her family settled in
St. Augustine in 1995. She attended Webster Elementary, Murray Middle School,
St. Augustine High School, and graduated from First Coast High School. Iesha later
obtained her Early Childhood Education Certificate, reflecting her profound love
for working with children.
Iesha's dedication to helping others was evident throughout her life. She
volunteered at Project Special Care, where she entertained and encouraged
children with special needs. After high school, she pursued a career in nursing,
working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Despite her career in nursing, her
true calling was to work with children. Iesha joined the Wards Creek Elementary
family as an academic support assistant and also worked as a day aide at Valley
Ridge Academy, where she loved developing after-school activities and nurturing
the children in her care.
In addition to her work in schools, Iesha owned and operated TLC Support Services
LLC, where she worked with children and adults with developmental disabilities.
Her dedication to helping others extended far beyond the classroom.
Iesha was known for her bright smile, good heart, and nurturing spirit. She had a
beautiful soul, carrying light in her smile and love in her bones. Known for her
snarky wit, she never minced words, a trait she inherited from her mother. Iesha
was always ready to help others, often giving the shirt off her back. She was an
eternal optimist, never dwelling on negativity and encouraging others to not let
setbacks define them. Her spirit continues to inspire her family, who strive to
instill her beliefs in her children.
