Quaderious Lyles, 25, of Phenix City, AL passed on Wednesday May 15, 2024 in Phenix City, AL.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, May 25, 2024 at St. Paul C.M.E Church, Rev. Dr. Raynetta Provo - Williams, pastor; Elder James Q. Smith, officiating, and Pastor Johnny M. Nelms, eulogist. Interment to follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. Public viewing will be from 1 - 5 p.m. EST, Friday, May 24, 2024.

Mr. Quaderious Keyon Lyles, affectionately known as “Boatman” or “Hundon” was born Sunday, January 17, 1999, to the parents of James Barnes, Jr. and Carolyn Lyles in Columbus, GA. At the age of two months, he became a grand addition to Calvin Brooks who cared, loved and raised him as his own.

On the quiet still evening of Wednesday, May 15, 2024, in Phenix City, AL he answered his call and traded this earthly dwelling place for that city not made by man’s hand.

Even though his parting has left a huge void he has left the fondest memories that will last a lifetime to his one and only son, Braylon Jayceon Lyles; lifetime partner, BriAsia Jenkins; mother, Carolyn (Calvin) Brooks; father, James Barnes Jr.; 10 sisters, Quanavia (Evan) Lane, Quanasia Brooks, Brianne (Rohan) Brooks, Candice Brooks-Hill, Ajia Roberison, Akira Barnes, Jaleah Barnes, Sharkavia Alexander, Jakalya Alexander and Shaneria Alexander; 10 brothers, Demetrius Barnes, SirDarrius (Mekalia) Barnes, Kijana Johnson, Rakwon Johnson, Jaylin Sellers, Elijah Anderson, Caytric Brooks-Hill, Markei (Selina) Brooks, Montrice(Celsany) Brooks and Ardaruis Price; three loving grandmothers, Georgia Lyles whom he loved, adored and spent a tremendous amount of time with whom he called “His G”, Georgia Brooks, Vickie Parker-Riggins and Vera Mae Jenkins; aunts and uncles two of whom he was raised with Radricka Perry and Roger (Markita) Perry, Andre (Lugenia) Lyles, Consandra (Reggie) Herring, Sandra (Eric) Jenkins, Steve (Yashica) Brooks, Wayman (Helen) Brooks, Dwayne Barnes and Steven (Michelle) Barnes, Sr; five great aunts, one who reared him, Deborah Alexander, Earlene Locke, Brenda Brooks, Ruby Lockhart and Patricia Brooks; six great uncles, Andrew (Cynthia) Alexander, George Alexander, Aaron Alexander, Arthur Wright, Ronnie Brooks and Roosevelt Jones; two special cousins, Bryan and Ryan Williams; Extended family, Lakeisha (Shawn) Baker, Brandon Jenkins, and Alonya Parker; adorable dog companion Maddie and a host of nieces, nephews, one great nephew, other relatives and friends.
