Mr. Felix Dewayne Gipson, Sr., 62, was born on September 4, 1962 to John H. Sutton & Lola Gipson in Jackson, MS. Felix passed away on May 10, 2024 in Jackson, MS.

Public visitation will be held on Friday May 17, 2024, 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Westhaven Funeral Home, 3580 Robinson Rd. Jackson, MS 39209.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 18, 2024, 1:00 p.m., Greater Bethlehem Temple Apostolic Church, 1505 Robinson Rd. Jackson, MS 39209. Burial will be held in Garden Memorial Park, 8001 Highway 49 N. Jackson, MS 39209.

Our hearts are saddened at loss of this cousin. My most impressive memory of Felix is several years ago I saw him in a parking lot and he boldly said "Like Job, Though he slay me, yet will I trust him". I absolutely loved hearing this from a young man. His mother, Lola, was my first cousin. My father, Lonnie Gipson was brother of his grandfather, A.C. Gipson.
