Obituary For Mr. Gary Lee Roy Blackwell

A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the First Baptist of Richburg 165 N Main Street Richburg, South Carolina 29729.

Mr. Blackwell was a resident of York County and currently of Chester County. Mr. Blackwell was the son of the late Roy Blackwell and the late Blanche Whiteside Blackwell.

He was also preceded by his son, Robert Stanley Blackwell.

Mr. Blackwell was a veteran of the Army National Guard of South Carolina.

He was retired from General Tire Company and a member of First Baptist Church of Richburg.

Mr. Blackwell is survived by his son, Gary James Roy Blackwell, daughter, Sheila Dawn Blackwell, two sisters, Connie Shugart, and Elaine (Ronnie) Funderburk, brother, Franklin Blackwell; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

In addition to flowers, memorials may be made in Gary Blackwell's name to First Baptist Church of Richburg, PO Box 341, Richburg, South Carolina 29729.
