Obituary For Alimba Q. Coleman

Alimba Q. Coleman, 46, of Brooklyn, New York entered into eternal life on Friday, May 3, 2024 in Barnwell, South Carolina.

A native New Yorker, Alimba loved New York and his borough of Brooklyn/East New York. His favorite past times were spending time with his family and traveling to Aiken, SC, hometown of his mother’s side of the family. He enjoyed sports and loved cheering on the Buffalo Bills, 49ers, Lakers and of course the NY Knicks. Alimba was proud of his accomplishments as a skilled tradesman and spent many years working as a contractor in residential construction earning certifications in masonry and other trades. Alimba lived life with courage and deep affection for his family.

He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia Coleman-Jones and father, Patrick Sinigola.

He leaves to mourn his passing one daughter Aniya Coleman; one sister Shawne Coleman, beloved nephew, Jayden and niece, Jayla; step-father Lance Jones, uncle, Edward Coleman, two special cousins. Makeda C. and Shamara Washington and a host of family members and friends.

A private celebration of Alimba’s life is planned for a future date.
