I remember one morning, the week of the Georgia vs Florida game, I got in my truck to leave for work. I got halfway out of my driveway to see what seems to be trash in my yard. I hopped out my truck to see what it was, just to see you put that darn mini Gator statue (trash) in my yard! Well, I underestimated the weight of the thing and almost threw my back out trying to take it hostage. Lol. So instead I just left it there and put some Georgia gear on it. We both got a kick out of teasing each other about our teams. I will surely miss those times. You were a great neighbor, Father and husband. I just wish we had more time as neighbors. Mrs. Mati, if you need anything we are here for you. Marcus Griffin

To believe that Mr. Stephen will no longer be with us is unbearable and heartbreaking. He was one of the best human beings you could think of. Whenever he was in the room there was never a dull moment, his laugh and smile would always lighten up the mood. I was more than heartbroken hearing the sad news from my parents, I was in shock. A day after the situation, my little brother reminded me of all the good memories that we had shared with him and his family. My favorite memory of Mr. Stephen was when the game FSU vs Gators happened, we made a bet on who's team would win and they the opposing fan would have to wear the other teams merchandise for the whole night, FSU won and I had to put an FSU lanyard around his neck, for being a loyal Gators fan, he was so disappointed, but told me after if I ever got an offer from each team he told me to pick Gators so he could get suite tickets to watch me play. I am so sorry for Mrs. Mati and the children, and I hope that his memories will never be forgotten. Sincerely, Ziovanni Axaopoulos
