Funeral service for Jeffery Reese, 57, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 22, 2024, at Christ Temple Holiness Church, 610 Clanton Street, Opelika, AL, 36801 with interment in Zion at the Hill A.M.E Zion Church, 3845 Lee Road 29, Opelika, AL 36804, Bishop Kenneth Carter will officiate.

Mr. Reese, who passed away Monday, April 15, 2024 at his home in Opelika, Alabama was born March 2, 1967 in Kings County, New York.

Public viewing will be Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Mr. Resse will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory: a devoted wife, Kidola Reese of Opelika, AL; one daughter, Tempest Reese of Opelika, AL; four grandchildren, Trazion Roberson, Brayden Campdell, Jackalby Reese and Kolton Reese all of Opelika, AL; three sisters, Portia (Joseph) Snell of Salem, AL, Phyllis A. Dumas of Opelika, AL and Angela (Roderick) King of Columbus, GA; two aunts, Annie Hunter and Mary (Lonnie) Nelms both of Auburn, AL; two uncles, Cleo Nelms of Opelika, AL and Hoover Lyles of Auburn, AL; two sisters-in-law, Daisy (Frank) Walker and Susie Logan both of Opelika, AL; one brother-in-law, Louis Willie Logan of Opelika, AL; three devoted friends, Kenneth Hill, Johnny Rowell and Phillip Reese; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
