Mrs. Marlene (Turner) Watkins entered into rest on Sunday, April 14, 2024. She was born on August 13,1942, to the late Orlando Turner and Viola Hilliard Turner. In March 1965, she married the late Ulysses Watkins, Augusta. Their union was blessed with four daughters.

She leaves to cherish her memory four loving daughters, Mia Griffin (Marvin), Swansea, IL; Michelle Williams (Aaron), Renton, WA; Monica Nixon (Sean), Atlanta, GA; Marcia Gipson (Ezra), Smyrna, TN; two brothers, Orlando Turner, Los Angeles, CA and James Turner, Las Vegas, NV, six grandchildren, one niece, several loving cousins, and a host of other family and friends.
Celebration of Life: 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 24th at Christ Fellowship Church, 3006 Richmond Hill Road, Augusta, GA. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 4 pm to 6 pm, Tuesday, April 23rd at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard Road. (706) 790-8858
