Sheila B. Daniels

A Celebration of Life for Sheila B. Daniels will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2511 E. Columbus Drive, Tampa, Rev. Larry L. Roundtree II, Pastor with Rev. Ronald LeeRoy Thomas, Associate Pastor, officiating.

Interment will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, Tampa.

Sheila Daniels of Tampa, Florida born February 5, 1953, and transitioned April 9, 2024, at St. Joseph’s hospital. Sheila was a beloved retired seamstress for the Tampa Bay Area. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and auntie to many. She was even a mother to the community as many also called Grandma Sheila. She welcomed everyone with her loving smile and warm embrace.

Sheila was preceded in death by her father, Harry Wilson, her brother Eddie Thomas, and grandson, Eric Daniels. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Thomas, her husband, Eddie R. Daniels Sr., daughter, Melissa Mayes (James Jr.), and son, Eddie R. Daniels Jr. She also leaves behind her sister, Barbara Simmons (Lewis), and brothers: Ronald Thomas (Gloria), Lowell Thomas, Willie Thomas (Brenda), Keith Smiley, Kevin Thomas (Shavon). Grandchildren: Quantravious, Raimon Jr., Dwayne, Raimona, Sheila, Eddie III, Edniqua, Eddie IV, Eddric, Nova, Demetrius, Miracle, Keon, Yakima, Destiny, Camreon, and Lacienda. A host of great great-grand kids, family, friends, and other relatives.

A visitation for Mrs. Sheila B. Daniels will be held at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa, 33605 on Friday, April 19, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
