Mr. Michael Allen “Blue” Bess, 66, of Lincolnton, North Carolina transitioned on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Wendover Hospice House, Shelby, North Carolina.

He was born in Catawba County, North Carolina on June 29, 1957 to the late Jason Charles Bess and Lesie Shuford Bess.

Michael was a member of Poplar Springs A.M.E. Zion Church. He graduated from Lincolnton High School, Class of 1976.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in White’s Family Chapel with burial to follow in Poplar Springs A.M.E. Zion Church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

There will be a public walk through held Friday, April 19, 2024 at the Funeral Home from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
