Obituary For Mamy Terrell Gumbs Williams

Mrs. Mamy Terrell Gumbs Williams was a home birth in Attala County with a midwife on May 22, 1976. She departed this life after a good fight Sunday morning April 7, 2024. She was preceded in death by her Father Billy D. Bentley.

She excepted Christ early in her life and attended Bethlehem Baptist Church of Sallis, MS.

She worked at Delta Airlines for several years before coming home and many years for the School District of Kosciusko in Attala County before her health failed her.

She attended school at McAdams High School graduating and continuing to several colleges.

Mamy leaves to cherish her memories: her partner in life Junior Lee Williams, her loving mother Elizabeth Bentley, and two children Bryson Terrell ponder and Mackenzie Gabrielle Williams. As well as Bobby Williams: Three brother and two sisters: Darrin (Mae Ellen) Witt, Angela (Willie) Fleming, Alfred Bentley, Amy Fleming and Billy W. (Earlye) Bentley. Also, many relatives and friends, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and God parents: King (Allie) Harmon.
