Obituary For Charles Bobo

Charles Edward Bobo was born November 24, 1963, to the late Mr. Leonard Crawford and the late Mrs. Georgia Bobo Starks; he was the youngest of six children.

He graduated from Hamilton High School in Memphis, Tennessee. After graduation, he attended trucking classes and became an over-the-road truck driver and also worked in the construction industry.

Charles enjoyed spending time with family on the weekends when family dinners were held. As an over-the-road truck driver, Charles enjoyed driving all over the country seeing and experiencing new and exciting places. He enjoyed having fun and living life his way on his terms.

Charles’ favorite pastimes were fishing, partaking in a game of horseshoes, and watching his favorite NFL team, the Tennessee Titans. Charles Edward Bobo lived his life to the fullest. He departed this life on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

Charles leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Damien Payne, Terrence Jones and Connie Bobo Sanders; three sisters, Debra Bobo & Linda Carter of Memphis, Tennessee, and Bernadette Bobo of St. Louis, Missouri; two brothers, Craig Bobo of Memphis, Tennessee, and John Bobo III of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 5, 2024 from 10:00am-11:55am with a Celebration of Life to follow at 12:00 noon both will be held at RS Lewis & Sons 2944 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis, TN 38111
