With much love, from Bet Dolo - I worked with Teresa at Fuquay-Varina Elementary. She was one of the first people I met when I started and from that day on, she stopped by to make us laugh, tease us or just to check in. She was so kind to my son and played around with him, checked in on him too. Her intentional attention to us, but especially my son, made us feel safe and made us feel we belonged. I remember one night leaving the building, my son saw her car in the parking lot and was drawn to it like a moth to a flame. We didn't know who it belonged to, only that it was beautiful. He looked it up and down and as soon as he was about to touch it we hear across the lawn, "Hey! Don't be touching my car!" Scared him so bad he jumped back! Haha - she had a good laugh and asked if he liked her car; he in turn said yes and she said maybe one day he'd get a ride. We are heartbroken that day won't come. Teresa is a special one. Her smile and laugh, her care and concern, her playfulness and support are missed every day. We love you, Ms. Teresa! And to her family, we grieve with you and are so sorry for this huge loss. She talked of you all often; we know how much she loved her family. Praying for peace to come in time.

My heart is saddened of the news about Teresa transitioning from her earthly home to God's kingdom. It was always a fun and adventure at Fuquay Varina Elementary when she was around. She was a jokester as well as feisty ! It was always best to stay on her good side. I never had the opportunity to meet her beautiful children and spoiled grandchildren! But she loved you all with every breath and always showed a million pictures of the memories with each of you,. She will truly be missed and always be in my heart! I thank God for allowing the both of us to cross paths. Hold on to God's unchanging hand and keep your heads held high and remember she's watching above,

When I heard the news that Ms. Teresa had transitioned, my heart sunk to my stomach. I worked with her at Fuquay Varina ES for several years. There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful she was to me. I would work late every Friday, and Ms. Teresa always made sure that I got to my car safely. She met my great nephew and other family members. My great nephew loved to visit "Ms. Teresa at the big school". When he was a toddler, she'd say it was okay for him to run down the hallway and explore the school. Ms. Teresa often talked about her family and friends. I loved meeting her grandchildren. She was so proud of her children and their new families. She was a great sounding board and gave common sense advice. Ms. Teresa was such a fantastic human being. I send her family comforting hugs and prayers. She will be missed by so many people.

Teresa worked with me at FVES for many years. She was always happy to stop working to say " hello" and ask how my daughters were doing in college. She was at FVES when they were young girls. They knew that when they came to visit as young adults, Teresa would have a hug for them. She will be greatly missed. May you always know that you had a terrific wife and mother. I will always remember her as my friend. I will look forward to seeing Teresa again in Heaven. May you feel the peace of the Lord as you grieve. Teresa was a fighter!
