CHESNEE, SC – Lucille Garrett Nash, 77, of 1125 Foster Grove Church Rd., entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 18, 2014. Lucille was born on December 9, 1936 to the late Mr. Blain Garrett and Mrs. Sudie H. Garrett; she was a native of Chesnee, South Carolina. Mrs. Nash was the wife of Mr. Ernest Nash, Sr. Mrs. Nash was a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church where she served as a member of the Missionary Society. She was previously a member of Foster Grove Baptist Church. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her five daughters, Deborah Jones of Chesnee, SC, Dolphine Tibbs of the home, Angie Peake of Moore, SC, Audrey Nash of Spartanburg, SC and Sandra Gray of Columbia, SC; her two sons, Steven Nash of Boiling Springs, SC and Ernest Nash, Jr. of Pauline, SC; her four sisters, Frances Fuller of Washington, DC, Betty Garrett of Chesnee, SC , Shirley Rookard and Carolyn Whiteside both of Spartanburg, SC; her two brothers, George Garrett and Oliver Garrett both of Spartanburg, SC; her grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. A Celebration of the Life of Lucille Garrett Nash will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Foster Grove Baptist Church, 899 Foster Grove Rd, Chesnee, SC 29368. Reverend Horace Wilson and Reverend James W. Smith will officiate. Interment will be held in Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens.
