Ms. Jennifer Slaton, 37, of Albany, Georgia departed this life Sunday, March 24, 2024 at her residence in Albany, Georgia.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in the Harvest Kingdom Jubilee Ministries, 801 Swift St, Albany, GA 31705.

Interment will in the Floral Memory Gardens, 120 Old Pretoria Road, Albany, Georgia 31701.

Jennifer Leigh Slaton passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at her home. Jennifer was a beautiful person, full of life, laughter, and love. She was a compassionate, thoughtful spirit that loved to cook and loved a good laugh.

Jennifer was born October 20, 1986, in Albany, Georgia. She was a 2005 graduate of Dougherty Comprehensive High School where she was active in the band.

Shortly after high school, Jennifer began her career in customer service where she excelled. As a supervisor at Teleperformance, she won many awards and accolades for exceptional service and leadership.

In her most recent role at Progressive, she continued to advance, receiving her most recent promotion and becoming licensed as a commercial claims adjuster, despite the health challenges she faced.

Her love for her family and friends was evident in everything she did, forging relationships that lasted for her lifetime.

Jennifer leaves to cherish her precious memories: her son Ezekiel; mother, Jennie Bogan Slaton; fathers, Willie H. Walton and Calvin Slaton; siblings, Chris Walton, Willie (Shareka) Walton, Shemetricia (Kendrick) Jones, Sr., Brandon Walton, Sha-kedra (Sennica) Harris, Travis Walton (Dominique Sanford), Charlene Welborn, Laquisha Slaton-Kindle (Tony), and Dymen Henderson; and a host of deeply devoted family, friends, and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Hershel and Jessie Pearl Bogan; paternal grandparents, Love and Mary Walton Sr. and Rufus and Viola Slaton; and her “Madear”, Girlee Bogan Crumbley.
