Desmond Decarlo Simpson SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mr. Desmond Decarlo Simpson, 33, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 31, 2014. He was born October 19, 1980 to the Mrs. Felecia Ann Redding and the late Mr. Roy Wilkie. He was a native of Spartanburg County, SC. Mr. Simpson was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories: his mother; his stepfather, Mr. Marion Redding; his daughter, Zia S. Simpson; his sisters, Tasha (Tony) Cleveland, Lanetra Ebron, Tomekia (Dewayne) Freeman and Julia Means; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and dear friends. A Celebration of the Life of Desmond Decarlo Simpson, will be held on Monday, August 4, 2014 at 10:00 AM at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The Pastor Allen V. Rector will officiate. Interment will be held in the M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, 140 Inway Drive, Anderson, SC 29621.
