Obituary For Lillian Montgomery

SPARTANBURG, SC – Mrs. Lillian Montgomery, 100, of 115 Westover Dr., entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 28, 2014. Mrs. Montgomery was the widow of Mr. R.C. Montgomery; she was the daughter of the late William Oscar Johnson and Francis Irby Johnson. She was a native of Spartanburg County. Lillian was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her only daughter, Annie Mae Ray (Connell) Cunningham; her grandchildren, Robin Cunningham of Piscataway, New Jersey, Sharron Cunningham of Orlando, Florida and Connell (Donnette) Cunningham, Jr. of Jacksonville, North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends. A Celebration of the Life of Mrs. Lillian Montgomery will be held on Saturday, July 5th, 2014 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 502 Daniel Morgan Avenue at 2:00 p.m. The Reverend Elijah Ray will officiate. Interment will be held at Lincoln Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the home, on Friday, July 4th after 4:00 p.m. J.W. Woodward Funeral Home
