Obituary For Clara Hill Nickerson

Clara Elizabeth Hill Edwards Nickerson, 68, was born on January 12, 1956 to the late Cosie Lee hill, Sr. and Louvenia Davis Hill. She was the oldest of 7 siblings. She graduated from Ethel High School in 1971. Clara was a member of Traveler's Rest Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Cleotus Woods. She departed this life on March 14, 2024 in Kosciusko, MS. Clara was preceded in death by her loving parents, her brother, Cosie Lee Hill, Jr. and her sons, Victor Carl Edwards, Jr. & John William Edwards.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Her son, Deayne (Lakeisha) Edwards of Kosciusko, MS; Her Siblings-Franzinia Hill of West, MS, John (Kathy) Hill of Buckatunna, MS, Jeanine (George) Williams and Fredrick Hill of Monroe, LA, Belinda (Ricky) Veasley of Kosciusko, MS; Her Grandchildren - Aakiel Greer, Yvonne Edwards, Aamiya (Muffin) Edwards, Jaylan (DayDay) Greer; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

DATE OF SERVICE: Friday 03/22/2024 at 12:00 p.m.

INTERMENT: Smyrna Cemetery, West, MS

Ms.Clara better know to us as little Clara was like a Aunt that was known for giving nicknames to all the Hill kids and I was honored to have more than one,Casanova or Lover(lol) we was truly blessed to have a great sister a great cousin,a great Aunt and a great niece she was truly one of a kind.
