Obituary For Lula Mae Black

Funeral services for Lula Mae Black, 92, of 441 Black River Road Allendale, SC will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Magdalene Christian Church with Pastor Cynthia Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at her residence.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 5 - 7 p.m.

Family and friends will meet at the church on the day of the service.

Friends may call at the funeral home.

Ms. Lula Mae Black was such a soldier in the Army of the Lord. A strong ally of all who know and love the Lord. What a testimony to be hold. As products of the Madgalene Christian Church family and community Ms. Lula Mae has been a part of our lives from early beginnings, and we are all the better for having known such a nurturing soul. She stood shoulder to shoulder with our mom as a church usher with such dedication, a welcoming spirit and later Mother of the Church. Her role as a door keeper was met with such honor and dignity as she worshipped and praised God from the sidelines.
