Rodney Jermaine Nesbitt MOORE, SC - Mr. Rodney Jermaine Nesbitt, 29, entered rest on February 22, 2014. Mr. Nesbitt was a native of Moore, South Carolina; he was the husband of Ebony K. Nesbitt. Rodney was the son of Angela T. Nesbitt and Kenneth J. Fields, Sr. & Jacques Fields. Mr. Nesbitt was a graduate of Dorman High School, Class of 2003. Rodney was a Veteran of the Iraq War and served in the United States Army. He was awarded the Iraq Campaign Medal and Two Campaign Stars, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Combat Action Badge, Driver and Mechanic Badge with Driver-Wheeled Vehicle Clasp. Mr. Nesbitt is survived by his four daughters, two sons, one grandson, two brothers, two sisters, grandparents and a host of other relatives and friends. A Celebration of the Life of Mr. Rodney Jermaine Nesbitt will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 12:00 noon at the New Faith International Church, 13 Ark Main St., Spartanburg, South Carolina. The Pastor Rosavelt Copeland will officiate. Interment will be held at Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 S. Church St., Roebuck, South Carolina. The family will receive friends at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
