Obituary For Mr. King Arthur Moore, Jr.

SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mr. King Arthur Moore, Jr., entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 4, 2014. He was a native of Spartanburg, South Carolina. Mr. Moore was the son of late King Arthur Moore, Sr. and Mrs. Pearl E. Moore Brannon. He was the widower of Mrs. Hazel Mitchell Moore. Mr. Moore was a member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church. Survivors include: his sisters, Mrs. Bertha Brown, Ms. Agnes Moore, Ms. Donna Moore, Ms. Rether Miller, Ms. Mary Miller and Ms. Mayolo Thomas; his brothers, Sammy Moore, Ervin Moore, Johnny Brannon and Robert Brannon. Mr. Arthur Moore, Jr. was preceded in death by his brother, Mr. Fred Moore. A Celebration of the Life of King Arthur Moore, Jr. will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 201 at 1:00 p.m. at the John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel. Reverend Odell Sloan will officiate. Interment will be in Cedarwood Cemetery (East Spartanburg), Plantation Rd, Spartanburg, South Carolina. The family is at the home of his sister, Ms. Bertha Brown, 534 Wofford Street, Spartanburg, SC.
