Betty Gary, 77, passed Wednesday, March 13, 2024 in Columbus, GA.

A Memorial Service to cherish her memory will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. EST in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Phenix City, Alabama.

Betty “Bet" Joyce Gary, 77, of Columbus, GA was known for the immense joy she brought to others. Bet was a one-of-a-kind person who lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will truly be missed. May she rest in eternal peace, and may her memory continue to bring comfort to those who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Jim and Charlie May Gary. Bet is survived by her sisters, Shirley (Curtis) Weeks, Christine Gary, Eunice (William) Jones, Vivian Geddis, Eleanor (JD) Henry, Theresa (Charles) Turpin, Renay (Michael) Bailey, Debbie Sherrod, and Marchele (Lorenza) Meadows, as well as a host of nephews and nieces who adored her.
