Obituary For Felicia Turner

Felicia Turner was born to the union of the late Walter and Dorothy Turner of West, MS. She joined West Missionary Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Rev. J.W. Hill. She was a member of the choir.

Felicia attended Williams-Sullivans High School class of 1990. She later attended Region IV Life Help in Lexington, MS until her health failed. Felicia was truly loved by everyone she met. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing and coloring. For those who knew her knew that “dolla” was most important.

Felicia spent her entire life here in West, MS with family. Felicia departed this life on March 12, 2024, at her residence. Her parents Walter and Dororthy Turner and 9 siblings (Felix, Mae, James, Ray, Walter, Jr., Peggy, Nellie and Edward) preceded her in death.

Felicia leaves to cherish her memories 9 siblings: Mildred (LaGrace), Howard (Jeannie) of Milwaukee, WI; Joe (Josephine) of West; MS, Jessie (Nick) of Durant, MS; Sheldon (Lessie) of Riverdale, GA; Marcus (Latonya) of Durant, MS; Miranda of Kosciusko, MS; Barrett (Teresa) and Viola (Rayborn) of West, MS. Felicia also leaves one aunt, cousins, and a host of nieces and nephews, whom she loved spending time with.
