Mr. Cortez Deshawn Carson, 22, of 514 Hartnett Dr. entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 10, 2013. He was the son of Mr. David Carson of Spartanburg, SC and Mrs. Cheryl Porter and his stepfather, Mr. Leonardo Porter of the home. He was a native of Spartanburg County. Survivors include: two sisters; Victoria Carson and Lenora Porter of Spartanburg, SC; his brother, Terrance Mayfield of Spartanburg, SC. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Living Waters Christian Ministry, 804 West Main Street. Pastor Jesse Canty will officiate. Burial will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the home.
