Obituary For Lamark Grubbs

Mr. Lamark Grubbs was born, October 5, 1957 to the parentage of the late Curtis Grubbs, Sr. and Josephine Ellison Grubbs. He was preceded in death by one son: Randy Grubbs; two brothers: James and Isaac; three sisters: Carolyn, Janette and Lillian.

Memorial Graveside Service will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Lamark was a 1976 graduate of J.P. Stevens High School, Edison, N.J. After graduation he relocated to Wrens, GA where he owned and operated Grubbs Trucking for several years. He wanted to make a little change so he started working for Turner Mechanical for over 14 years. Lamark saw great heights in employment and decided to make a change to Facility Services Management, Inc at Fort Eisenhower until his health failed.

He attended and was an active member of New Zion Baptist Church until his health failed.

After toils and tribulations, Lemark made his transition to be with the Lord on Tuesday evening, March 5, 2024 at an Augusta Hospital.

There is a multitude of loved ones left behind to cherish his memories including two sons: Derrick Grubbs, Wrens, GA and Lamark Grubbs, Jr, Macon, GA; sisters: Evelyn Terrell, Barbara "B.J." Grubbs, Wrens, GA, Joann Costin, Plainfield, N.J., Gloria Grubbs, Piscataway, N.J., Denise Gibson and Mary Grubbs, Philadelphia, PA, Felicia Thornton, Linden, N. J., Illa "Elaine" Allen, Glenda (Marvin) Ward, Diane Cowley, Cynthia (James) Keyton, Dothan, AL; brothers: Curtis (Arlene) Grubbs, Jr. , Piscataway, N.J, Willie Grubbs, Nashville, TN, Wayne (GiGi) Grubbs, Woodbridge, N.J., Ronnie Grubbs, Rahway, N.J., Joey Stevenson, Union, N.J.; aunts: Emma, Louise, Viola, Virginia and Pamela; his memories will also be cherished by his loving and dedicated fiancรฉ: Sandra Jones and her daughters, Amour Jones Adetokunbo, Stacie Jones; his grandchildren: Camille Grubbs and Raylin Grubbs; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and devoted and dedicated co-workers at FSI.
