Funeral service for Brenda Dowdell, 65, of Camp Hill, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 281 Pine Grove Loop, Dadeville, AL 36853 with interment in the Church Cemetery, Reverend G. H. Pulliam, will officiate.

Mrs. Dowdell, who passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born October 6, 1958 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, March 8, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Mrs. Dowdell will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

Memories of her precious life will be cherish by: four children, Kelly Dowdell, Arthur Louis Dowdell, Jr., Kia Dowdell all of Auburn, AL and Kayla (Adrien) Black of Houston, TX; eight grandchildren, Jakena Dowdell, Jaken Dowdell, Kellia Menefee, Ivy Brundage, India Brundage, Cardis Askew, Jr., Dashaun Hall and Joshua Askew; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Marian Johnson of Montgomery, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including Mary’s Little Lamb Daycare staff.
