Funeral service for Tommy Lee Lowman, Sr., 74, of McDonough, GA, formerly of Salem, AL, will be at 12:00 noon (CST), Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Salem Chapel A.M.E Church, 57 Lee Road 254, Salem, AL, 36874. The interment will follow Monday, March 11, 2024, 9:00 a.m. (CST) in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, 553 Hwy 165, Fort Mitchell, AL, 36875, Reverend Antonio James, Pastor, Reverend James Graham, Eulogist.
Mr. Lowman, who passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia, was born August 28, 1949 in Russell, County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, March 8, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (CST). The family will be present from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (CST).
Mr. Lowman will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
Tommy Lee, Sr., leaves to cherish his memory: a beloved and devoted wife, Shirley Lowman of McDonough, GA. He was a loving and cherished father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and he will be remembered by: two sons, Tommy, Jr. (Monica) Lowman and Willie Cobb both of College Park, GA; two daughters, Catrina Jacobs of Phenix City, AL and Donna Cobb of Miami FL; one brother, Hartis (Pearl) Lowman of Huntsville, AL; three sisters, Emma Floyd, Darlene Graham and Linda Hodge all of Salem, AL; one great aunt, Bobbie Nell Wilson Simpson of Dayton, OH; two sisters-in-law, Laverne (Charlie) Garmon and Vera Garmon both of Miami, FL; nine grandchildren, Chauncey Phillips, Kiona M. Riley, Renee Cobb, Jalen Cobb, Nakari M. Lowman, Kamari K. Lowman, Aalaya Lowman, Wriana Cobb and Selique Cobb, six great-grandchildren, Atariyah Horace, Jayvian Phillips, Tyler Phillips, Ayden Phillips, Khelani Thomas, Kali Karter Lowman; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, friends and others loved ones.
