Mrs. Debra Powell Alexander, 70, was born on Sunday, January 24, 1954 and departed this life on Monday, February 26, 2024.

Funeral service will be held at St. James Baptist Church, 314 N. Hyde Park Ave., Durham, NC on Thursday, March 7, 2024; visitation from 12:00 to 1:00, funeral service starts at 1:00 pm.
Burial will be held at Beechwood Cemetery.

Please accept my deepest sympathy during the time of the loss of your dear mom! Lawanda & William, your mom was the sweetest thing to girl who first met her in the 6th grade (40 years ago) thinking she was in love.
