SPARTANBURG, SC-- Ms. Pearlie Mae Cheeks, of 4125 Shepard Road, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at her home. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Walter Cheeks and Mrs. Hattie Norman Cheeks. She was a native of Spartanburg County.Survivors include: one daughter, Karen (John) Simuel of the home; one sister, Margaret B. Gray of Moore, SC; two grandchildren, Carlos Simuel and Chadrick Simuel both of the home; and one niece reared in the home, Angela (Robert) Hamler of Moore, SC.Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013, at 1:00 PM at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel.
