Obituary For Anthony Savoy, Sr.

CROWLEY – Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Crowley, LA for Mr. Anthony Savoy, Sr., 84, who entered eternal rest on February 19, 2024 in Lafayette, LA. Interment will be in West Crowley Cemetery.

Rev. Warren Williams, Jr., Pastor of Green Meadow Baptist Church in Houston, TX, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Savoy’s memories are being cherished by: son, Anthony C. (Beverly) Savoy, Jr. of Youngsville, LA; two daughters, Stephanie Savoy of Crowley, LA and Linda Johnson of St. Martinville, LA; his significant other, Mildred Drake of Crowley, LA; one sister, Mary Savoy Cain of Houston, TX; and a host of bonus children; grandchildren, great grandchildren; great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mr. Savoy is preceded in death by: his wife, Inez Williams Savoy; his parents, Joseph Savoy and Mary Hunter Savoy; paternal grandparents, Frank Savoy, Sr. and Emma Broussard Savoy; and one brother, Joseph Henry Savoy.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
