Obituary For Timothy Lee Brooks

Timothy Lee Brooks was born on December 20, 1954, to Albert Howard and Bernice Brooks. He graduated in 1972 from Clay High School in Green Cove Springs, Florida. He was employed at the Putnam County Board of County Commissioners for 28 years. He married his wife, Jewel Synora Brooks on May 8, 1987. He was a member of New Life Temple Fellowship Church. Timothy enjoyed breeding and training German Shepherds, watching football, (his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys), and spending time with his family.

Timothy was preceded in eternal rest by his parents: Albert Howard and Bernice Brooks, stepdad, George Simpson, sister, Peggy Oliver

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Jewel Synora Brooks, daughters, Aquanda Pridgeon (Shawn), Sy’Rhonda Wolfe (Larry), Regina Brooks, Kiwani Jackson, Ka’Shanda McCaskill, Janaihya Brooks, Kaneisha Brooks, Taniesha Brooks, La’Sara Brooks, sons, David Brooks, Timothy Brooks, Timmy Brooks, Ty’Shon Jenkins, Rakim Williams, sisters- Darlena Raggins (Danny), Gwendolyn Washington, (Willie), Elizabeth Crosland, Effie Simpson, brother, David Brooks (Kimberly), Great-Granddaughter- Madison Lewis, Arya Seymour, Kennedi Norward, K’Lani Poole, great aunt, Lillie B. Brooks, 22 grandchildren, and devoted friends and co-workers-Malcolm McMullen, Acy Hines, Bill Futch, Chuck Shosey, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 2, at Family Life Center, 1414 Bronson St, Palatka, public viewing one hour before service. Interment will be held in Oak Hill East Cemetery.
